Held on the 29th September at Berkeley’s Chapel in Worcester on a bright autumn morning, visitors, guests, students and participants gathered to attend this momentous achievement!
We were joined by the Mayor of Worcester David Tibbett and the lady Maroress, Jane Tibbett. It was very pleasing to welcome John Mair to the meeting, John was the founding chair of the charity without whose forsight, determination and hard work would not have seen the charity form, develop and continue to prosper!
The meeting was opened by our Chair Les Bishop who introduced the guests and Trustees and conducted the formal business of the AGM.
We were pleased that Ian Pugh, Sue Abbott and Les Bishop successfully put themselves foreword for re-election, with Mike Whitehouse completing the Trustees.
Our Accountants Kendall Wadley’s Jon Marston confirmed that the Charity had had another successful year and all financial, legal and constitutional matters are in order with the CEO highlighted for running a very professional operation.
The Mayor and John presented the Education and volunteering awards with the pictures taken by Ben Wilkins outside this year as the weather was so good!
The meeting was closed by Tony Whitcher CEO who thanked his Team, Trustee Partners, and Guests for attending, highlighting our continuing relationship with Worcester college of Technology, Worcestershire County Council and Worcester Consolidated Charity.
The meeting was followed by an excellent Buffett.
